The Ka’bah
According to Arab legend, the ancient Meccan temple called the Ka’bah（meaning “cube”）was built by Adan, the first man. It was the first house of God on earth, but was washed away by the great flood at the time of Noah. It was rebuilt by Ibrahim（Abaham）and his son Ismael, and Ibrahim placed inside it the Black Stone fiven to him by the angel Gabriel.
The Sufis
Sufis are Muslim mystics who search for a close, personal relationship with Allah. Their name comes from suf, the Arabic word for “wool,” and refers to the simple woolen robes that the mystics used to wear….
